Veteran restaurateur Louis Cheng has long been a familiar name in the Asian restaurant industry in the Washington, D.C. area. He opened his first restaurant, Yen Cheng in Herndon Va. in the early 80’s, and later the popular Cheng’s Oriental Restaurant and the unique Pacific in Sterling. Louis has catered to many of the area’s families for 3 generations. Louis is most trusted by his customers for his commitment to offer friendly service, creative menu items and high quality food in all his operations. That is the reason why many of his customers, after moving away from the area, still come back to visit him whenever they are in town.

His new establishment, Cheng’s Asian House in Chantilly, Va. is in a relatively smaller setting compared to his former locations. The dining room is cozy, fresh and modern. The menus served at Cheng’s Asian House offer well prepared comfort food and some original collections from different regions. Cheng’s Asian House also features full bar service with selective wines, beers and sakes. During 3 decades of his service in the business, Louis has developed an extensive collection of his own popular tropical cocktails.
